The map, every layer and the whole site report are open to anyone, with no account and no tracking. You only give us anything if you choose to sign in.
What we collect, and only if you sign in
- Your email address and the account identifier Google gives us.
- Nothing else. No name is required, no profile picture is stored, no analytics.
Why
Signing in guards one feature: properties for sale. It exists so that access to that data can be limited to permitted accounts. It is used for nothing else, and it is never sold, shared or passed to anyone.
Lawful basis
Legitimate interest in controlling access to that one feature, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. If you would rather not, simply do not sign in — everything else works without it.
How long
A session lasts 30 days of inactivity and is held in memory, so it also ends whenever the server restarts. Signing out ends it immediately.
Cookies
One cookie, discover_session, which keeps you signed in. There are no
advertising, analytics or third-party cookies.
Services your browser contacts directly
Some of the map is drawn live from public services. When you use those parts, your browser talks to them and they see your IP address, as with any website you visit:
- Catastro — parcel boundaries and details at the point you click
- PVGIS (European Commission, JRC) — solar yield for that point
- CartoCiudad (IGN) — place and address search
- IGN PNOA — aerial photographs, present day and 1956
Map labels, fonts and icons are served from this site, so no request goes to a font or tile CDN.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, or for it to be deleted, and it will be done. Deleting your data means deleting your email address from the permitted list, after which signing in will no longer work.
