VAT is worked out at checkout from your country and, for a business, its VAT number; the total shows before you pay. Prices can change for new purchases. For Pro, a new price applies only from a renewal after you were told by email, and you can cancel before it.
How a purchase works
- You sign in with your Google account.
- You choose the product and pay on Stripe's secure page: card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- The contract is made when the payment is confirmed. What you bought opens at once and shows in "My account".
- Stripe emails you the receipt or invoice.
The contract can be made in Spanish or English.
Delivery
Everything is delivered online, at once. "For good" for a Dossier means with no time limit on your account; you can also save the Dossier as a PDF whenever you like, and that copy is yours.
Your right to withdraw
The law gives you 14 calendar days from purchase to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. Here is how it applies:
- Dossier. It is digital content delivered at once. When you pay, you ask for delivery to start straight away and confirm you know that you then lose the right to withdraw; the confirmation of the purchase records it. So a Dossier cannot be withdrawn once bought (art. 103 m of Spain's consumer law, the Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios).
- Search Pass and Pro. Access starts at once because you ask for it when you pay. You can withdraw within the 14 days: you get back what you paid less the part for the days already used, worked out from the total price (art. 108.3). For example, a €29 Search Pass for 90 days, withdrawn on day 9: €29 × 81/90 = €26.10 back.
To withdraw, email hello@discoverland.org saying you withdraw; you may use the form below, but you do not have to. We refund within 14 days of your message, to the same payment method, at no cost to you (art. 107.1).

Cancelling Pro
Whenever you like, in "My account" → "Card, invoices and billing details". Pro stays until the end of the paid period and then ends; nothing more is charged. Switching between monthly and yearly is prorated by Stripe.
If something does not work
If what you bought does not work as described, write to us: we fix it or refund it. This does not limit your rights under consumer law.
What the reports are
Reports and Dossiers are built from public data published by official bodies, and are dated: they show what those sources said on that day. Sources can contain errors or be out of date; each report names its sources and the offices that have the final word. They are not certificates or official documents. We are responsible for building the reports with care from the sources they name, not for errors in those official sources. Nothing here limits liability that consumer law does not allow to be limited.
Using your account
What you buy is for the person who buys it; with Pro, the reports and Dossiers you share open in full for whoever receives them. Copying the site's data in bulk or by automated means is not allowed.
Complaints and governing law
Send any complaint to hello@discoverland.org. Spanish law applies; as a consumer you keep the protection of the law of your country of residence, and can go to the courts where you live and to consumer authorities.
Changes
Each purchase is governed by the terms in force when it was made; if you need that version, we send it to you.
