IGME records 10 wells and boreholes in Moixent / Mogente. Half of the 10 with a depth found water at 230–408 m. 2 springs are recorded.

Ground: 37% karstic or fissured aquifer, medium productivity; 31% porous aquifer, medium productivity; 21% low permeability, local groundwater only; 8.6% karstic or fissured aquifer, high productivity.

What to watch for

• 2 fires since 2016 reached the municipality: 16 ha in all, the latest in 2026.
• No mapped flood zone (only studied rivers are mapped).
• 38% of the municipality is Natura 2000: new works need the region's consent.
