Can you build a house on rustic land?

Catalonia allows no new houses on rustic land. Restoring an existing or listed building is the way.

Only the town hall can confirm it, in writing: ask for a certificado urbanístico.

IGME records 19 wells and boreholes in Castellví de la Marca. Half of the 19 with a depth found water at 13–42 m. One spring is recorded.

Ground: 48% porous aquifer, medium productivity; 29% practically impermeable; 12% low permeability, local groundwater only; 11% karstic or fissured aquifer, high productivity.
