Can you build a house on rustic land?

The Valencian Community requires at least 1 ha for a new house on rustic land.

The national urban information system (SIU) maps the land class for 100% of the municipality.

Only the town hall can confirm it, in writing: ask for a certificado urbanístico.

IGME records 28 wells and boreholes in Novelda. Half of the 25 with a depth found water at 265–334 m. 2 springs are recorded.

Ground: 56% porous aquifer, medium productivity; 13% practically impermeable; 12% porous aquifer, high productivity; 8.3% karstic or fissured aquifer, medium productivity; 7.3% low permeability, local groundwater only.
